On 22nd June 2011, the Sports Advocacy Group hosted a Winter Sports Dinner showcasing Australia's talented Skiers and Snowboarders, many of whom competed in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Guests at the dinner included: - Dean Gosper (President of Ski & Snowboard Australia), Michael Kennedy (CEO of Ski and Snowboard Australia), Lydia Lassila (aerial skiier and Olympic Gold Medallist), Chumpy Pullin (World Champion - snow board cross), Nathan Johnstone (World Champion - snow board half pipe), Ben Wordsworth (head coach snowboarding, The Olympic Winter Institute of Australia), Scott Kneller (ski cross - former World Champion) and Jenny Owens (ski cross).

Topics of conversation included: - Sponsorship and Olympic Preparation, Lydia Lassila's journey from Gymnastics to Winter Olympic Gold, Winter Olympics on Australian broadcast TV, Australia's success and going from amateur to professional amongst other things.
